Until the middle of the last century, Marbella consisted of several fishing villages, but in the 50s, entrepreneurs in England and Germany invested in the development of tourist infrastructure and opened this picturesque corner to the whole world. The nearest airport to Marbella is Aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol, located in the neighboring town of Malaga, 51 kilometers to the North. From there, the resort can be reached by bus, taxi, or a rented car.

In the center of the resort is the port of Puerto Banus, where the marina of the same name operates, offering yacht charter in Marbella for sea voyages along its coast. It was built in 1970 and has welcomed up to five million visitors a year since then. Puerto Banus is equipped with 915 berths - walking along the port you can see hundreds of expensive large yachts belonging to the richest people in the world. Next to the port is the residential area of Nueva Andalucia with beautiful villas, several golf courses and lush greenery.

There are 26 beaches on the coast of the resort - yacht charter in Marbella allows you to visit each of them. In the city, you can find both large family beaches, equipped with everything you need for comfortable family leisure, and secluded bays where you can go in for water sports or enjoy the nature around them. Two of the largest beaches are located near the port - Playa de Puerto Banus to the north and Nueva Andalucia to the south.

The main attraction of the city is its historical quarters that form Old Marbella. Walking along them, you can see ancient buildings, which are several hundred years old. The narrow streets of the city are full of beautiful tropical plantings that delight the eye and hide its guests from the hot sun. The small buildings house cozy restaurants, bars and cafes where you can enjoy live music and local cuisine. Tourists can rent a yacht in Marbella, relax on its picturesque beaches and enjoy the views of beautiful nature and elite neighborhoods, and then head to its narrow streets and spend the evening in a quiet, cozy atmosphere.
