Navigation Systems

Navigation and Communications package; Chickcharnie has a Garmin 741XS chartplotter as well as an identical back up unit and a Simrad Robertson auto pilot. She also has two installed VHFs, a handheld VHF and an ICOM M700 single sideband radio.

Galley Equipment

Galley: The deep U-shaped modern Galley oriented athwartship portside has ample countertop, food prep, and storage areas. Opposite to starbd is a 4 person dinette booth. Up the stairs to the main Salon are two additional bar stools facing forward to a bar. The Galley is equipped with two stovetops; 1ea 110VAC, & 1ea LPG. An Apt sized refrigerator is accompanied w/ toaster oven, microwave. 6cf Deep Freezer is located on the Flybridge. 6G hot water tank. 120G Holding tank. One access to the engine room is thru the stairs leading to the main salon.

Deck and Hull Equipment

Deck and Safety Gear; Chickcharnie has a large assortment of safety gear aboard, numerous Life Vests, 1 Emergency MOB Beacon and Safety Flares. She carries fenders and a very large inventory of lines.

Exterior; The bottom painted in 2021, Topside was painted in 2022.

Mid-deck level; From the Main Salon, up the stairs to the mid-deck level, finding a portside dinghy cradle and a crane w/ winch for dinghy deployment. Midline is a large storage locker for life jackets and Safety equipment. Facing aft to starbrd, is a staircase leading to the cockpit and swim platform. Facing forward, the is a starboard staircase leading up to the flybridge.

Mechanical Equipment

Fishing and Diving package; Chickcharnie is fully equipped for diving. She has both a dive compressor for filling tanks as well as a hookah system for tethered underwater activity. This package includes six tanks, 2 BC´s and an extensive inventory of masks, weight belts and fins as well as spearfishing guns. There is a complete inventory of deep sea fishing equipment and a large assortment of fishing tackle. The Apex tender is an 11’ inflatable w/ canvas chaps. Two identical 15 hp, 2 stroke Mercury outboards.

Additional Equipment

Head package. Chickcharnie has two heads, one forward and one aft. Both feature recently overhauled Raritan electric heads. There are nice vanities in each head and a separate single shower

in the aft head. Hot water is provided by a new 6 gallon 110 vac Raritan hot water tank.

Accommodations

Chickharnie sleeps 8 and has two ensuite heads. There is a fwd vberth, Main salon builtin sofa for 2, aft cabin double berth, and a  builtin double lazzarette on the enclosed flybridge that sleeps two.

The Large U shaped modern galley has an apartment sized refrigerator with 2.5cf freezer, and 6cf deepfreezer located on the flybridge, a microwave, toaster oven and two stove tops: 1 is 110VAC electric, and 1 is LPG.

This is a turnkey vessel that includes all flatware, silverware, and cooking pots and pans. There is ample counter top food prep space and ample storage compartments for pantry and foodstuffs.

Chickcharnie is a 1977 48’ Tollycraft cockpit motoryacht, manufactured in Washington state. The owners have cruised her in Florida, the Bahamas and Western Caribbean for the past 20 years. Turn key, she is a fully equipped cruising boat, well suited for cruising Belize and the Bay Islands of Honduras as the owners do for five winter months each year. When not cruising, Chickcharnie, US documented, is stored in a Guatemalan covered slip.
