$35,000 PRICE DROP Owner says sell! "REEL WISE" She is an absolutely astonishing 1996 Viking 50 Convertible powered by a pair of Man 820hp Diesel motors. This is without a doubt the finest example of the Viking 50 of this age that we have seen. The boat has been completely gone through including paint and powder coating top to bottom and shows like new. There is a Marine Survey available from June 2020 with just a couple of minor findings that were corrected and the boat achieved a difficult to obtain "Above Average" rating.
"The Viking 50 is best described as a scaled-down version of the Viking 53 Convertible introduced a few years earlier. She's built on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam, a well-flared bow, and balsa coring in the hull sides. Her lush three-stateroom layout is similar in most respects to her predecessor, but with reduced dimensions. The master stateroom is amidships, a washer/dryer was standard, and the salon is open to the galley and dinette. Notable features of the Viking 50 include a spacious, standup engine room, a huge in-deck fish box, direct cockpit engine room access, and a superb bridge layout with seating for eight. At nearly 60,000 pounds, the Viking 50 is no lightweight"
