Helms 30 for charter

Condition

This is a project boat. According to the owner, the diesel engine runs flawlessly and is in great shape. The original freshwater bladders have deteriorated, and have been removed. The side mast stanchion on the port side has a broken bolt and is an easy fix. The stanchion mounts appear to be in good condition. The interior is unfinished and needs some upholstery, and possibly flooring.

30 foot 1976 Helms 30, from builder Jack Helms, a fast narrow beam boat that has a great reputation for being a true heading boat.

Manufactured in 1976 in South Carolina, Features a spacious head, and cabinetry that can keep you out on the water overnight, or over several nights.

This is a project boat, that just needs some really simple, and easy finish work to make this a family favorite.

The "bones" of this Helms 30 are, according to the seller, are in great shape, and the reason why he purchased it.
Alas, he can not finish the project due to doctors' orders, and he is hoping the right person will see its great value.
