Pelican One was born in 1985 as a working and fishing boat in Alaskan waters, where in fact, she spent the first 25 years of her life.
The first refit in 2010 resulted in the boat being redesigned for Mediterranean use, exploration and sport fishing.
The second refit in 2013 included replacing the main engines, installing zero-speed stabilisers, and various internal modifications and improvements.
Finally, in 2016/2017 the bulb was redesigned to optimise stability and fuel consumption, and they entirely repainted both the hull and superstructures.
