This Bayfield 32C has been a fresh water boat all its life. Designed by Ted Gozzard and manufactured in Ontario, these boats are considered to be iconic to the Great Lakes and are easily spotted due to their distinctive hull design. A full keel, turned spindles on the taffrail and a beautiful bow sprit make this boat stand out while on the water. Three sails and keel stepped mast for serious sailing. The hull is solid fiberglass with a cored deck considered by many to be very spacious. The fact that so many of these boats are in such fine shape is a testament to their robust construction.
Down below there is a V berth, with head to starboard and locker to port, full cabin settee, with seat backs that fold up for additional storage and sleeping area, and a unique Bayfield chart table which folds away to provide a full length quarter berth. The galley is to starboard with a sink and refrigerator (NOT an icebox). As a bonus, this Bayfield 32C has a Yanmar diesel engine, which was not always common and a solar panel to support the refrigerator.
All three running sails are in excellent condition, the large bimini top is only 2 years old and the main sail cover is brand new. Includes Auto Helm and GPS chart plotter. Four House batteries and one Starting battery. Two anchors included.
This is a solid, three sail, well equipped vessel ready to sail to any destination - fresh water or salt water!
