Wheel House
The fully enclosed wheelhouse is light and airy. As well as the command position
there is the navigational station and seating area with a dining table. Access to the powerful 80 H.P. Diesel engine is from under the wheelhouse deck.
Engine covers /oak parquet floors stripped and re-varnished, lifting points re-chromed
Interior
The vessel has accommodation for six persons in three cabins.
The forward cabin has two single berths in the usual "V' configuration. These berths can convert to a large double when required.
Heads just aft of the forward cabin.
Main saloon with dining area and galley.
The dining area will convert into a double berth.
Large fully enclosed wheelhouse with seating.
Noise insulated engine room is located under the wheelhouse deck.
Large aft owners stateroom with double berth.
Galley
The galley is located on the starboard side of the main saloon and fitted out with:
Double sink with hot water by calorifier and immersion heater.
Pressurized hot and cold fresh water. All freshwater piping and mixers taps replaced
New Waeco fridge below galley worktop.
Worktops replace during refurbishment.
Plastimo Neptune 2000 cooker with two gas rings, grill and oven.

Main Saloon
The main saloon is located just forward of the wheelhouse, and the dining area will seat a full crew. This area will convert into a double berth when required. The dining area is also local to the galley for ease of catering and entertaining.

All main saloon roof beams replaced and new laminated ones fitted, additional main mast support added internally

Foresail roller reefing gear upfront. New Furlex roller reefing fitted - 5/2022
Deck gear
Teak guardrails with gates.
Bow sprit with stainless bow roller assemblies, port and starboard, refurbished and rebuilt
15 kg Bruce Anchor with 10mm galvanised chain.
Electric anchor windlass. Lofrans unit with control in the wheelhouse at the helm position.
Stainless support frame added to anchor winch base.
Horn.
Forward Samson mooring/anchor posts replaced 2020.
Aft outside steering position with stainless wheel. All new outside steering, main and mizzen sail covers fitted.
Self-tailing winches, 2 x Antal 16 on coachroof port and starboard. 2 x Lewmar 8 on main mast.
All wooden hatches were replaced with bespoke Houdini opening hatches, with an additional one added to the main saloon.
Coach roof sliding hatch refurbished and new Perspex window fitted.

The ship's electrical system is 12 volts throughout, with power being supplied to three 12 volt heavy duty batteries via an engine-driven alternator. Electrical distribution board replaced with modern alternative.

SAGRES is a well-maintained example of the popular Nauticat 33 cruiser, one of 1160 built between 1967 and 1996. This vessel has had a lot of work done and is not to be missed.
