A real head turner of a vessel. Heads Up is hull # 105 of the 107 40' wooden hulls Post produced from 1970-1974. Mr. Post motto was "Yachts of quality not quantity." I have had the privilege of 21 years of ownership but change is part of life therefore I am looking to move on up but not until Heads Up is sold. No need to be a two boat owner.

I cannot list all the items I have competed, replaced or repaired over the years (over $150K in receipts) but recent highlights in 2021 included new fuel and water tank along with new carpeting and a new refrigerator. Main engines are FWC 440 Chryslers with 800/100 hours since rebuilt. 7KW Westerbeke FWC genset with 900 hours. Planking is Western Red Cedar 7/8's on side and 1.25' on the bottom. The bottom was glassed over at the factory as an option when ordered. Vacuum Flush head and holding tank.

Length 40'
Beam 14' 9
Draft 3'

Serious buyers welcomed who understand the value of the vessel. Asking $49K or best offer but no low ballers either

Boat hauled and surveyed January 2023

Surveyor General Note: This vessel is in great condition for its age, very well maintained.

$ 49 000
